Understanding
Privacy Legislation
Training Sessions
September 17 - December 18, 2008
Various locations throughout Alberta
(see poster)
Is
this training for me? On your job have you ever …
-
felt that ‘privacy legislation’ is too restrictive and creates a
barrier to providing effective services to your clients?
-
wondered if you have the right to collect all the
personal/health information that you do?
If you
have answered “yes” to these questions, then this provincial
training initiative can help. The one-day training sessions gives
the opportunity for cross-sectoral participants to work together
through a number of scenarios and learn a decision making process
that they can apply to situations that they come across in their day
to day work environments.
The
training is offered throughout Alberta and is free to all
participants. To view scheduled sessions this Fall and Winter,
download the "Understanding Privacy Legislation" poster
here. For more information call 780-644-1629 or email
info.sharing@gov.ab.ca.
